The Cramlington HUB is a joint collaborative service for all our Patients on behalf of Forum Family Practice, Collingwood Surgery, Cramlington Medical Group, Eldson Avenue Surgery, Netherfield Surgery, Ponteland Medical Group, The Rothbury Practice and The Village Surgery.

Walk-in Centre & Minor Injury Units

These are services for your convenience if your usual surgery is shut. They help you avoid going to A&E for non urgent problems e.g.

  • coughs/colds/flu
  • children with fever
  • emergency      contraceptive
  • minor cuts & wounds
  • muscle & joint injuries/sprains
  • stomach ache, vomiting, diarrhoea or indigestion 
  • possible fracture of bone

Urgent Care Centre - North Tyneside General Hospital

For urgent care ring 999 

Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital at Cramlington is for Serious emergencies e.g.

  • suspected stroke
  • loss of consciousness
  • persistent and severe chest pain
  • sudden shortness of breath
  • severe abdominal pain
  • severe blood loss
  • meningitis symptoms

Urgent Conditions will be treated at 24 hour walk-in services at Hexham, North Tyneside & Wansbeck e.g.

  • minor head, ear or eye problems
  • broken nose or nose bleed
  • sprains, strains, cuts and bites
  • children’s minor injuries and ailments
  • minor fractures or broken bones
  • abscesses and wound infection
  • minor burns and scalds
