Test Results
How and when to obtain test results from the surgery
Getting your test results
If your doctor has sent you for tests or investigations, you will be advised how and when to obtain the results.
Once a clinician has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- or can be given by telephone on 01670 713 021 by our administrative staff once they have been checked by a clinician
- Cervical cytology test results taken by the practice will be notified by letter, as this comes directly from the cytology service
Please wait to make another appointment until all test results are received, unless advised otherwise by your doctor or nurse.
Questions about your results
Get in touch with the surgery if you want to talk to someone about your results.
The results of investigations for anyone aged 13 years or over will only be given to the patient unless it has been agreed in advance with the doctor arranging the test, or we have consented to the data.
All appointments with any of our practice staff are confidential.
